VJ Day Commemoration and Re-Dedication of War Memorial in Netheravon

The War Memorial in Netheravon has been cleaned and the names re-painted to mark the end of the Second World War.   A Commemorative Service and Re-dedication of the War Memorial was held led by the Rev’d Gale Hunt on 15th August which was VJ Day.   A wreath was laid by the Chairman of the Council, Andy Linscer, the Exhortation was said by Len Blake from the British Legion and there was a 2 minutes silence to remember the people of Netheravon who lost their lives.
