Netheravon Parish Council IT and Cyber Security Policy

This policy, adopted in 2025 with a review date of December 2026, sets out the rules that apply to all councillors and staff when using council IT equipment, email or data systems. It covers password security, protection against cyber scams, data protection obligations under UK GDPR, rules on social media, and the requirement for all council business to be conducted through official council email addresses. The council reserves the right to monitor activity on official devices.
